Though they were first introduced long ago, these large-bladed knives are still relatively uncommon. At first, it looks like a regular knife, but when the left at the base of the handle is activated, the full blade can be folded outward to extend to its full length. In its "prone" position, this knife is 8.5" long- still large compared to other knifes. Folded out, it measures nearly a full foot long. The knife locks firmly in either position, and the hilt guard folds out to protect your hands while folded out.
