Product Description : The unique combination of the most modern materials grants an exceptional position in the knife market. The blade of the Boker Plus Anti-Mc is made of hi-tech ceramic, which is 100% nonmagnetic and provides outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. The handle is made of lightweight, durable, corrosion resistant titanium, and features an integral frame lock mechanism. A pocket knife with truly unique qualities! Includes pocket clip and lanyard hole for secure handling. Weighs 2.5 ounce. Hi,This is the most recent addition to my collection of a couple dozen folding knives. It's the first ceramic bladed knife and I'm really pleased with it. Below are some notes for you.Positives:- The folding action is super smooth. It's comparable to the very best folders in my collection.- There is also no detectible movement when the blade is locked open.- The finish on the blade and handle look great.- The construction feels very solid. It's put together with torx screws.Negatives:- The pocket clip is not reversible from top to bottom or side to side. It goes in your pocket tip down only. I prefer tip up myself.- The blade on mine is not particularly sharp. I'm not saying it's dull, only that several of my other knives (Buck and Benchmade) with metal blades were and are sharper.- It's made in China. As an admitted knife snob I prefer the US, Japan or Germany.I like it a lot and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other collectors. I'm not sure how well the blade will hold up over time but the investment was modest enough that it isn't a huge concern.Regards,John I've been using a CRKT M16 LE for the last 2 years, and very happy with it, but wanted to try a ceramic blade folder. I'm now missing patches of hair on my arms from showing my friends how sharp it is. I can't quite get it to pop open and lock with one quick thumb movement, but it does open with one hand. It's lighter than the CRKT, it looks good, and the blade is wicked sharp. Ok, so I bought this knife as a starter for the ceramic blade market. I have read other reviews and watched videos raving about the wicked sharpness of a ceramic blade. I must have gotten something different because while it has a nice shiny edge it is no sharper than some of my nicer metal blades. For that matter the arm hair test the other reviewer was talking about was a complete failure with mine. I did consider returning it but the Amazon merchant's disclaimer says on unopened items, so I guess I am out 50 bucks. I give it three stars because the craftsmanship looks well made and the titanium handles are shaped and cut nice. The function is good too, just don't expect the hair splitting that you read. And if it matters this one is made in China, others I have seen were marked Taiwan.
